Likely Focus
Expected Profile
- Manage enterprise application projects and programmes from requirements and solution assessment through planning, build, SIT/UAT, deployment, Go/No-Go, hypercare, and operational handover.
- Own project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and governance across regional business teams, global technology teams, SAP delivery teams, and system integrators in a matrix environment.
- Apply structured delivery practices including PMP/PRINCE2, Agile, and SAP Activate as appropriate.
- Analyse issues and processes across sales orders, pricing, delivery, goods issue, billing, returns, credits, and the end-to-end Order-to-Cash cycle using hands-on SAP SD expertise.
- Manage Supply Chain and Logistics activities including SAP configuration, troubleshooting, delivery documents (VL01N), stock checks, and post-goods-issue processes.
- Conduct fit-gap and impact analysis on business requirements, identify dependencies across SAP SD, inventory, logistics, Finance, and connected applications, and promote standard SAP capabilities over unnecessary customisation.
- Analyse interfaces and integrations including IDocs, messages, and APIs to evaluate the impact of changes and incidents across the enterprise application landscape.
- Evaluate proposed solutions for functional fit, integration dependencies, feasibility, operational impact, risk, and total cost of ownership.
- Support analysis of significant enterprise application incidents, coordinate root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions with support teams and vendors.
- Manage SAP partners, system integrators, and vendors against scope, quality, milestones, and service commitments.
- Build working relationships with Finance, Retail Operations, Supply Chain, technology teams, and global SAP organisations, translating complex SAP and integration topics into clear business decisions.
- 5–7 years in enterprise-scale project and programme management; S/4 migration experience is highly advantageous.
- Proven programme management track record in large-scale retail, ideally across multi-country or matrixed environments.
- Hands-on SAP SD experience in retail with strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash, Supply Chain, pricing, sales orders, delivery, billing, returns, and integration with inventory, logistics, and Finance.
- Hands-on SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration exposure; understanding of ECC versus S/4HANA, particularly within OTC, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
- Experience conducting fit-gap and impact analysis, and managing testing, deployment, hypercare, and support.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification required; ITIL, service transition, and SAP Activate experience advantageous.
- Middle East retail or multi-market experience preferred, particularly with regional commercial, tax, pricing, and operational requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Fluent English required; Arabic and/or French is a plus.
- Structured, analytical, collaborative, and delivery-focused working style.
