• Manage and develop UAEN employees through coaching, clear direction, and access to appropriate resources.
• Lead all operational activities across Al Ain branches and support units.
• Oversee the team providing relationship manager support to Corporate and Investment Banking Group (CIBG) clients.
• Manage Tamooha Operations and the work hub to maintain consistent customer experience.
• Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
• Monitor regional performance metrics and implement corrective actions as required.
• Ensure SOP adherence, capacity planning, and end-of-day controls across the region.
• Optimise turnaround times and ensure SLA compliance.
• Drive audit readiness and oversee remediation of audit and compliance findings within agreed timelines.
• Monitor and reduce operational losses, fraud incidents, cash differences, and exception items.
• Approve regional staffing plans, shift patterns, leave calendars, and training schedules.
• Authorise operational expenditure within delegated budget thresholds.
• Escalate suspicious activity, serious incidents, and non-compliance promptly.
• Represent Al Ain Center at GBS and senior management meetings, reporting on performance and recommending solutions.
• Act as primary liaison with internal stakeholders including Retail Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, Group Credit, Group Business Services, ITMAM, Group Risk, and Group Compliance.
• Represent the company in community initiatives, CSR activities, and local forums within the Al Ain region.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide transformation and change programmes.
• UAE National (UAEN) — mandatory requirement.
• Minimum nine years of experience in people management and leadership, preferably within financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of banking systems including loan processing, limits, and collaterals.
• Demonstrated experience managing large teams across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the UAE and GCC.
• Project management and scheduling capability.
• Experience with budgeting, administration, and operational cost control.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills at senior level.
