The Role
The Senior FM Policies, Standards and Guidelines Engineer is responsible for producing and maintaining the documentation frameworks that govern facility management delivery. The work spans technical writing, compliance review, stakeholder coordination, and audit support. The role operates across engineering and operational teams to ensure FM requirements are translated into structured, usable guidance.
Required Profile
- Develop and maintain FM policies, standards, and technical guideline documents.
- Review engineering submissions for compliance with FM standards and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance on FM governance, procedures, and operational standards.
- Support audits and gap assessments related to facility management policy implementation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align FM requirements across projects and assets.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a closely related field.
- Five or more years of experience in facility management standards or engineering governance.
- Strong knowledge of FM policies, compliance frameworks, and operational best practices.
- Experience reviewing technical documents, engineering submissions, and audit findings.
- Demonstrated ability to produce technical written documentation across complex projects.
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholder groups across complex project environments.
